Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman Kick Off Their Practical Magic 2 Tour

Move aside, October: It’s about to be one seriously witchy September, thanks to Practical Magic 2. Ah yes, as we prepare for the highly anticipated sequel (in theaters September 11!) we’re warming up our broomsticks and getting out our capes and cauldrons early this year. Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock, who starred in the 1998 original as two witchy sisters, are back, this time joined by new-to-the-franchise actors Joey King and Maisie Williams in the reboot (both playing Bullock’s daughters in the film, natch).

While we can’t wait for the buzzy flick to hit the big screens, we do have something to tide us over in the meantime—the film’s splashy press tour officially kicked off today in London. And both Bullock and Kidman brought out their finest A-lister looks for the occasion. If you were hoping for a case of spooky method dressing, think again: Bullock and Kidman embraced classic Hollywood glamour instead—though they dialed up the drama with looks that were both fun and theatrical.

For Bullock’s part, the actor chose a leopard-printed strapless gown from Givenchy’s fall 2026 collection by Sarah Burton. Call it maximalism done right: The voluminous, sculptural skirt! The heavy dose of animal print! It’s all working, down to the dazzling Jessica McCormack jewels. Kidman, meanwhile, opted for a custom Chanel dress by Matthieu Blazy. (She is, after all, a Chanel ambassador, and a very frequent Chanel wearer on the red carpet) Her icy-blue sequined number featured strands of cascading chains along the bust and arms, as well as a sexy high leg slit.

It’s a glorious sighting. . . seeing two megawatt celebrities in the season’s finest couture. Because what’s better than one Hollywood legend at a big, splashy premiere? Two of them. And better yet, this first premiere is only one of many. . . meaning, we wonder if a more eerie, witchy, all-black coordinated fashion moment is soon on the way? Imagine Bullock in Comme des Garçons and Kidman in Simone Rocha.

Or in one of their chic looks (velvets! florals!) from the original movie? Keep your eyes peeled.
