Savannah Bananas infielder, Olympians join ‘Dancing With The Stars’ cast

Season 35 of “Dancing With The Stars” will have an Olympic flair.
Figure skating gold medalist Amber Glenn, Paralympic track and field gold medalist Ezra Frech and Savannah Bananas star Jackson Olson are representing the athletic contingent in the upcoming season of the long-running ABC dance competition. Actress Julia Stiles, Hanson lead singer Taylor Hanson and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez are among other celebrities who have joined the cast.
Glenn is coming off a gold medal in the team figure skating competition at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympic Games. Frech won two gold medals in the 2024 Paris Summer Paralympics — one in the 100-meter dash, the other in the high jump. Olson, a former collegiate baseball player for the University of Hartford, has been an infielder for the Bananas since 2022.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, athletes have had a good track record competing on “Dancing With The Stars.” Emmitt Smith, Apolo Anton Ohno, Shawn Johnson, Kristi Yamaguchi, Helio Castroneves, Hines Ward, Donald Driver, Meryl Davis, Laurie Hernandez, Rashad Jennings, Adam Rippon and Iman Shumpert have all won the competition.
Season 35 of “Dancing With The Stars” premieres on Sept. 15, 2026.
