As the company continues to battle California over its proposed merger with Warner Bros., the CEO is reportedly looking to other states.

As tension builds in California amid Paramount Skydance’s bid for Warner Bros. Discovery, Paramount CEO David Ellison is reportedly eyeing an exit to Tennessee.
Ellison has considered moving Paramount from California as early as October if a solution to a 12-state antitrust lawsuit stalling its Warner Bros. merger could not be reached, Variety reported earlier this month. Variety named Tennessee, Georgia, and Texas among relocation options. Tennessee has since emerged as the front runner,The Wall Street Journalreported Sunday.

Such a move would be a significant loss for Hollywood, but a huge win for Tennessee, where leaders have long touted the state’s low taxes and a business-friendly environment as a successful draw for corporate locations.
