Beauty Marks: The Best Beauty Looks of the Week

Welcome back to Beauty Marks: Vogue’s weekly edition of the best moments in celebrity beauty, from Vogue editors’ IG feeds, and all the glam of the fashion and pop culture landscapes. Each week, we curate the nail art to pin for your next nail appointment, new recruits to ‘Team Bob’, and major red carpet moments from the week’s most glamorous affairs. As always, it’s as much about celebrity beauty as it is about the makeup artists, hairstylists, and nail artists, as well as the creators crafting the trends you’re about to see everywhere.

This week, the best beauty looks played with and up the natural. Think: sculptural floral decal manicures, blush that accentuates beaming smiles, skin-forward glam, otherworldly eye contacts that add to the siren-like look. London-based nail artist Anouska Anastasia is known for her avant-garde art in miniature form, played out on manicures like this week’s colorful set on her manager Lidya Gumus.

Devon Lee Carlson, known for her megawatt smile, gets some mega waves to match care of hairstylist Ricky Fraser, while makeup artist Julia Edwards makes the case for the sunburn-esque blush—without the real sun damage. Wear! Your! SPF! Elsewhere, Tyla dominated at the South African Music Awards, made even more captivated with icy blue eye contacts that brought out all the dimensions of her shimmering glam: Ngozi Edeme did that.

Becky G turned to her go-to makeup artist

Becky G turned to her go-to makeup artist Sergio Antón De Las Nieves for expertly applied lashes—these dolly-like add-ons are truly having a moment. Scroll through the week’s best of celebrity beauty and pop culture’s glam below, and head to the app to vote for your favorite. Combining some of summer’s hottest nail trends in one fabulous, three-dimensional mani, Anouska Anastasia sculpts and paints this fierce, floral and leopard-adorned set for her manager, Rain London’s Lidya Gumus.

Radiant Hannah, with makeup by Molly Greenwald and a delicately waved copper lob by Jerrod Roberts. Bride to be with the industry’s biggest pearly whites, Devon Lee gets those girl-next-door waves care of Ricky Fraser. Pretty blush and a precisely lined lip by Shelby Smith. As makeup artist Sergio Antón De Las Nieves himself states: Miss Face Card! Accentuated by a carefully glossed, gradient lip and dolly lashes.

Hair, by Alba Esteban, features sweet and nostalgic, face-framing braids. Mei Kawajiri—also known as @nailsbymei—took her candy stripe negative space nails on a tour of Japan. Superstar Tyla cleaned up at the South African Music Awards, with golden, glowing glam and a high-octane blush by Ngozi Edeme, and ethereal, voluminous hair by Ahmad Christopher. A look for a modern Marvel star: a romantic visage by Yukari Obayashi Bush, and a soft auburn braid by Ryan Richman.

Sunburn blush supremacy, as per skin-forward glam pro makeup artist Julia Edwards. An artful updo by Nick Rose. You can just about peep Ed Mellor’s exquisite cat eye. Siren eyes by queen of kohl Lilly Keys, with Owen Gould’s signature bombshell waves.
