Croatian Wine Masterclass Series Starts this Fall
NEW YORK, NY, August 20, 2026 – Preeminent US wine magazine, Wine Enthusiast’s Buying Guide featured 14 wine labels from Croatia which earned more than 90 points, including four in the Superb Category (on a scale of 1-100) as published in the October issue. Plavac Mali from Terra Madre Winery, Komarna Appellation, received the highest rating of 97 points in the superb category.

14 Croatian Wines Scoring in the Excellent and Superb Categories with 90-97 Points
The top-performing Croatian wines were as follows:
- Pošip,from Dalmatia,with entries from Black Island Winery Merga Victa On Lees 94 Points, Dalmatian Dog 92 points, and Hvar Hills, 91.
- White blends,Meneghetti White at 94 points, and Stina Cuvee White (Pošip, Vugava and Chardonnay) at 92
- Plavac Mali, from the region of Dalmatia in the Superb Category include Terra Madre Premium Plavac Mali receiving 97 points, Komarna Appellation, Hvar Hills Pharos Maximus with 94 points, Hvar
- Red Blends,Stina Cuvee, Brač, Dalmatia (based on Plavac Mali 70%) with 93 points, and Meneghetti Red, Istria, (Bordeaux style) at 93
- Babić,Testament Winery Dalmatian Dog Babić at Excellent rating of 92
