Ariz. — The Arizona Cardinals have signed wide receiver Michael Wilson to a three-year extension, the team announced Thursday
The extension is worth $75 million and has a maximum value of $78 million,Wilson will receive $47 million guaranteed
“It’s awesome,” coach Mike LaFleur said Thursday. “It’s great for the Cardinals. It’s great for his teammates, this locker room. It’s good for our fanbase. Anyone that really knows Mike, I mean, you can’t help but root for the guy. So that’s awesome.”

Negotiations had slowed after multiple offers from the Cardinals over the past few months but reignited Wednesday, as now under contract through the 2029 season
The $25 million per year rate is tied for 20th among wide receivers. The deal ranks 21st in guaranteed money and tied for 22nd in contract value among wide receivers.

Wilson is coming off his best NFL season in 2025, when he eclipsed 1,000 yards for the first time in his career. He finished with 1,006 yards after starting with just 52 through five games.

The Cardinals’ third-round draft pick in 2023, Wilson becomes the sixth wide receiver in his draft class to sign an extension. He is the third among them, along with Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Zay Flowers, to have a 1,000-yard season.
“It’s awesome for the organization,” LaFleur said. “Now you put all that aside and you just say the football player, this is a special player who I don’t even think has even come close to reaching how good he could be.”
