Amal Clooney Isn’t Letting Go of Boho Just Yet

Amal Clooney is truly at her best at Venice Film Festival: glamorous vintage gowns, sparkly party-ready minis, layers of Cartier jewels, and blown out Old Hollywood curls to boot. For 2026, she embraced sequins, spots, and some serious stilettos. A close second? Her Euro summer style, which leans more boho, floaty looks perfect for seeing out the hot months at Lake Como. The Clooneys were photographed today (September 5) departing the Italian city dressed much more casually—well…as casual as Amal Clooney is ever going to get.
She wore a simple black tank top paired with an Elie Saab snake-print silk maxi skirt that featured a high leg slit, cinched at the waist with a low-slung brown belt. She added chunky platform sandals and Cartier bracelets, and toted a tan Chloé Bracelet bag. Her hair, as per, was swept into a deep side part, and she sported her signature oversized sunglasses. The last few days have meant plenty of great outfits: the couple coordinated in all-blacks, with Amal opting for a body-contouring and razor pleated black Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann gown, which she wore to the opening ceremony and for the premiere of Danny Boyle’s Ink.
On the second evening of the festival, Amal amped things up: spotted heading toward a party, she wore an aqua minidress by Caroline’s Couture. The next day, a raspberry spot-printed Stella McCartney dress. Summer is slowly coming to a close, but best believe the Clooneys have a few more starry galas and coordinating looks to turn at a luxurious Italian villa soon.
