Could This Yacht Reverse Aging?

If you’re a wealthy consumer, you have likely relaxed on many superyachts, and when not at sea, you’ve also likely invested in longevity treatments to ‘reverse’ your biological age. Now, you can do both at the same time. After a big summer of yachts and the steady rise of longevity tourism, The Four Seasons is taking things up a notch. Five months after the Mediterranean maiden voyage of its first-ever yacht, Four Seasons Yachts is unveiling an onboard longevity residency in partnership with ultra-luxe wellbeing clinic Lanserhof.

The Lanserhof Reset will debut during the Four Seasons I’s inaugural transatlantic crossing from November 8-16, as the yacht (and its guests) transitions from summer’s Mediterranean season to winter in the Caribbean (naturally). On their eight-day trip across the Atlantic, guests will have access to a bespoke Lanserhof program that blends medical and longevity expertise. “Wellbeing has been integral to the Four Seasons Yachts experience from the beginning.

Our guests already have access to exceptional spa and fitness facilities, including a cold plunge and ice fountain, cryochambers, a steam room and hydrotherapy, alongside personal training and a range of experiences designed to help guests maintain, and even elevate, their wellness routines at sea,” says Ben Trodd, CEO of Four Seasons Yachts. “The Lanserhof Reset felt like a natural evolution of that foundation.”
It’s Lanserhof’s first time at sea.

There are currently three European clinics: the original

There are currently three European clinics: the original Lanserhof Lans, in Austria’s Tyrolean mountains; Lanserhof Tegernsee in the Bavarian Alps; and Lanserhof Sylt, the clinic’s newest property, by the German seaside. It also has an outpost at London’s Arts Club. The clinic is known for its Lanserhof Concept longevity programming — and its celebrity clientele, including Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Aniston.

Now, Four Seasons I can tap into the clinic’s method while sailing across the Atlantic. The $18,000-plus trip (for a seaview suite; prices go up to $239,300 for the five-person Funnel suite) includes expert consultations, restorative treatments, breathwork and nutritional guidance; wellness classes; a daily Lanserhof Chlorophyll Energizing Morning Boost; and Lanserhof-developed anti-inflammatory culinary offerings.

For an additional $5,000, guests can personalize the program with a physician consultation to develop a personalized, eight-day protocol for their trip. Four Seasons Yachts wants to be predictive of what its guests value, Trodd says. In this case, it’s longevity and preventative health. “It allows us to look differently at what a crossing can be and create something highly personal, restorative and reflective of how our guests want to spend their time today,” he explains.

This collaboration is a reflection of where luxury

This collaboration is a reflection of where luxury stands in 2026. When every second influencer you follow is on a yacht in Europe, and longevity tech has trickled down into wearable devices and health scans vying for “affordable luxury” status, the bar to capture the attention — and spend — of ultra-high-net-worth individuals is invariably raised. Access to such experiences and technologies don’t feel as exclusive — or luxurious — if anyone can buy in.

Already, wealthy consumers or so-called “glowmads” were traveling to far-flung destinations for wellness experiences. But the Four Seasons Yachts and Lanserhof partnership creates a new top tier of luxury tourism: an elite clinic’s methodology, transposed onto the apex of luxury transport. “Our ambition with Four Seasons Yachts is to create experiences that guests simply cannot find anywhere else, combining the freedom and intimacy of yachting with the service, care, and comfort of The Four Seasons,” says Trodd.

“Lanserhof brings another dimension to that experience.”
The location is key: the Four Seasons I has a limited capacity of up to 222 passengers, meaning an extremely exclusive number of people can access the experience. Most notably, to tap in proves that you have the time — and means — to spend eight days on a boat in the middle of the ocean. This is the core logic behind the Four Seasons Yachts-Lanserhof pairing: the partnership was designed around the premise of a transatlantic journey offering an extended period of completely undisturbed time.

The transatlantic crossing presents a particularly compelling opportunity

“The transatlantic crossing presents a particularly compelling opportunity to bring [this] to life,” Trodd says. “Eight uninterrupted days give our guests something increasingly rare: the time and space to truly focus on themselves, to disconnect, reset and invest more deeply in their wellbeing.”
For now, there are no further Lanserhof Retreat trips on the books, but the November voyage will serve as a blueprint for what personalized wellness in this new setting could look like in the long run.

“It’s the kind of experience that could only come to life through our joint expertise and in this unique setting,” Trodd says.
