Hunter Schafer Debuts Contemporary-Off-the-Runway Prada at Comedian Con

This weekend, New York Comic Con brought a number of Hollywood stars to Manhattan’s Javits Center, from Sarah Paulson to Nicolas Cage. Among their ranks? The cast of the highly anticipated new Prime Video miniseries Blade Runner 2099, who gathered yesterday for a panel on the project. The group included stars Michelle Yeoh, Hunter Schafer, Matthew Needham, and Dimitri Abold. Schafer, of course, is no stranger to Comic Con: The actor has brought all kinds of stellar looks to the long-running fan convention.

(Recall her Marc Jacobs ensemble just this past summer, for the iteration in San Diego.) But yesterday brought one of her best Comic Con style serves yet: Schafer rolled up in a Prada look fresh off the runway in Milan. When Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons debuted their spring 2027 collection just a few weeks ago, the fashion world went wild for it—specifically, the duo’s zingy assortment of skirts.

Leave it to a true Prada girl like Schafer to get her hands on one first. The star and her stylist, Dara Allen, went for look 35: a graphic pink and black pencil skirt with a minty green and black tube top. Following the styling in the show, she accessorized with patent mule stilettos—giving it all an effortless, slightly ’90s feel. It’s not unusual for a star like Schafer to pull a fresh-off-the-runway look while doing press for a film or TV series, but it is quite the coup to raid the show of the season.

When you’ve been working with Prada as long as Schafer has, however, the best looks are yours for the taking.
